Finally I'll get the opportunity to draw nudes... After much time spent bugging my teacher, and after she'd went through a lot of trouble finding a model for our class we've finally found one (...that hopefully doesn't declare herself sick in the last moment as the other ones!). Only once before have I had the opportunity to draw nudes. At first I thought it would be kinda awkward, but when we started drawing it was like drawing anything else, like a cup of tea really. And now I see that drawing nudes is absolutely necessary to understand the human anatomy, and look very forward to this evening. So expect some drawings coming in later today

Photo-realism

So far this year I had produced like two things I think... Finally I got the inspiration to make drawings and such again and I finished two portraits. One of my sister and one of my cousins, and am currently working on one of my brother. It feels great to finally do something. As said I'm working with portraits at the moment. And I will continue to do for an unknown period of time. This is because I really haven't been doing portraits before and it is a skill I want to improve as well as finding a style which fits me. I use a reference photo when doing portraits, preferred one taken by myself, and try of course to get it as true to the pictu

Well, I'm trying. At the moment I'm almost finished with the first portrait of many to come - hopefully. And I'm looking at different art schools in England, where one of them hopefully will be my "home" next year. I've been looking at Portsmouth and Bournemouth mostly, but I'm open for everything. So, I was wondering if anyone out there had some advice for me.. some one with experience with schools in England. I would really appreciate that! - So, if you know anything, what so ever, leave me a comment=D

love your gallery :]
Haven't heard from you in a while - hope I haven't said anything to offend you....
No way my friend. I've just been away, sort of. I've had a very inactive period on devart, and in life general. On one side I've been busy as hell, on the other side you might say I've just been walking in circles.. Or have I? I'm not sure actually. But well, I'll come back I guess, sooner or later, and with some new drawings as well...

I want to apologize for those who feel like I've let them down or forgotten them. I haven't, but I may have forgotten where and who I am.

"I'm not superman."
I understand your feelings exactly; I suppose we all have times like that. I wish you the very best and look forward to your triumphant return! :)
